The Fox Valley Royals are a youth travel
baseball program located in
Chicago’s northwest suburbs, currently
consisting of teams from age
12U through 18U.
Each team uses professional training and performs at a high level
of competition throughout the United States. Our goal as experienced
coaches is to prepare our youth players for the leadership that is necessary for
future life experiences and for the possible advancement to the collegiate
level. |

Royals 16U National
sweep to win prestigious
USSSA Northwestern University Invitational! |

July 4--The
Royals 16U National team went 6-0 to win the USSSA Northwestern
Invitational. In the championship game played on the campus of
Northwestern, the Royals defeated the Illinois Reds 10-7 behind a
12-hit attack and stellar defense, outscoring opponents 48-14 in the
tourney. |

Valley Royals coaches to evaluate and coach USA Baseball!
June 21--Peter
Caliendo, Director of USA Baseball Great Lakes Region National Team
Identification Series has requested that Royals President and
Associate Scout Andy Bisceglia, former pro player and current
collegiate coach TJ Nall, former pro player/coach Justin Kees, and
Associate Scout Ben Erickson participate in the evaluation process
for USA Baseball in the selection of their teams for the Great Lakes
Region and in the USA Baseball National Identification Series held
in North Carolina. These outstanding professional staff of the
Royals have also been asked to be some of the primary coaches of the
USA Baseball Great Lakes Regional Teams. |

Triple Crown Great Lakes Tournament and World Series berth! |

June 27--The
Royals 13U team went 3-0 to win the Triple Crown Great Lakes
Tournament,
outscoring opponents 27-9 and capturing a berth in the Triple Crown
World Series for 2010.

June 27--The
Royals 12U team went 2-0 to win the Triple Crown Great Lakes
Tournament and capturing a berth in the Triple Crown Worlds Series
for 2010.

June 13--The
Royals 16U National team went 4-0 to win the Kenosha Classic,
outscoring opponents 52-5 and upping their season record to 6-1. The
Royals have not allowed more than 2 runs in any game this season.

The 14U team won in
Rockford going undefeated in pool play. They won against the VJG Longhorns in the championship game 7 to 4 to take home the

Royals sign deal at
beautiful
Elfstrom Stadium
(home of the Kane County Cougars) for dates
in the 2010 season.
The Fox Valley Royals Baseball Organization has signed on for dates at
Eflstrom Stadium, home of the Kane County Cougars for the 2010 season.
The Cougars are the single A affiliate of the Oakland A's major league
baseball club. Eflstrom Stadium is widely considered one of the most
beautiful parks in the country. Stay tuned for more exciting details in
the future.

The Royals have also
added beautiful Elgin
Community College
as one of their home
fields. ECC's field is considered one of the
best fields in the state.
Spartan
Baseball Field
Seating capacity: 500.
Dimensions: 330 feet down the
lines, 385 feet to centerfield, and 392 feet in the gaps.
The field,
among the finest in the state, features a playing surface of crushed
brick material from Alabama and sod of 100 percent Kentucky Bluegrass,
the same as used at Miller Park in Milwaukee. It has an eight foot high
wood fence in the outfield, and a three foot high cement wall with
netting for the backstop.
Spartan
Field also features an outdoor hitting facility with two 70 foot long
tunnels and four catch net stations for drill work.

The
Fox Valley Royals
Baseball organization is managed by Andy Bisceglia, a former collegiate
pitcher/outfielder with over 20 years coaching experience, the past 14 years
at the professional and collegiate level. Currently, Andy is beginning his
10th season as an Associate Scout for the 2001 World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks.
In recent years Andy has coached at the collegiate level as pitching coach at
Elgin Community College and has assisted several Division I teams with their
pitching programs and camps; most recently with Miami University.
Most of Andy's players from the Royals have gone on to compete at the
highest collegiate level including Arizona State, Wake Forest and
the University of Illinois. |
