Former collegiate
pitcher/outfielder with over 20 years coaching experience at both the professional and collegiate level. Currently Andy is
an associate scout for the 2001 World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks. Has
assisted Division I teams with their
pitching programs and camps.
Most of Andy's players from the Royals have gone on to compete at the
highest level of collegiate play including Arizona State, Wake Forest and
the University of Illinois.

Ben Erickson

A former scholarship collegiate pitcher and outfielder with several
years of instruction experience, Ben was Judson College’s first
Chicago-land Collegiate All-Conference Player in 1999 and was also an
NAIA All-Region selection the same year. He has spent time as a high
school and volunteer assistant coach at the college level.
Ben is currently the assistant varsity
coach at South Elgin High School and is highly regarded in the
baseball community for his development of many baseball camps and
training programs.

Randy is a former minor league
infielder, having played for both the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cub farm
systems. In addition to his professional playing career, Randy has also
worked as a professional scout in recent years with several organizations.
Coach "Kaz" has been
instructing for nearly twenty years as a private hitting instructor as well
as lead camp instructor for many camps and winter
programs. Randy is also a camp evaluator and lead instructor for the Annual High School Baseball Advanced Camp every January.

Ryan Biner

Ryan was a two-year starter at Prarie Ridge HS in Crystal Lake. He
twice made the Northwest Herald All-Area team, was named Fox Valley
All-Conference as well as Academic All-Conference.
He currently attends
Johns Hopkins University where he has twice lettered playing 1B and OF
for the Blue Jays. He was All-Conference in the Centennial League with
a .488 average this past season. Since 2004, Ryan has also been a
hitting instructor.

Hunter Nelson

Hunter recently finished his sophomore year at Beloit College (WI)
where he plays first base for the Bucs. He was a three-year
varsity starter at Elgin Larkin HS where he made the Courier
News All-Area Team and was named to the Upstate 8 All-Conference Team
as a senior. Hunter also works as a camp instructor during the summer
months. |

Izzy is a former middle infielder who played collegiate ball for
Georgia Southern and then professional baseball
in the minor leagues at the AAA level in the Philadelphia Phillies
Organization. Izzy coached at Division I Northeastern University for 8
years, as well as at Notre Dame HS when they won the state in 2004. |

Mike started
his career at Elgin Community College where he was selected as an
All-American pitcher (11-0 record) in 2005. Mike went on to play for
the Illinois State Redbirds in 2006-07 and led the team in saves
with 6 in 2006 and had 11 starts in 2007. Mike is a welcome addition
to the Royals coaching staff.

TJ Nall

Coach Nall
pitched in the Washington Nationals organization in 2007 & 2008,
playing most recently in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) with the Las
Vegas 51's and Southern League while with the Los Angeles Dodgers
system. TJ was a member of the 2002 South Atlantic League All-Star
team, posting a 0.63 ERA in the first half. Coach Nall also played in
the Arizona Fall League in 2003, spent 2004 in Jacksonville (FL) and
was also selected as an All-Star for the Southern League in 2004 and
2006.
The 2006
season was a career year for Coach Nall. He led the Southern League in
strikeouts (155) as well as won 8 consecutive decisions for the
Jacksonville Suns. He finished the year 10-7 and had a 2.82 ERA. Coach
Nall was the Southern League pitcher of the week three times in 2006;
he was also the Dodger organization pitcher of the month in June,
going 6-0 with a 1.10 ERA. Coach Nall tallied his first professional
homerun in '06.
TJ was an
area standout while at Schaumburg High School playing for the Saxons
the same year they captured the Illinois State Baseball Title (1997).
Nall was named to the Chicago Tribune All-State Team in 1999 as a
third basemen, and was drafted shortly thereafter in the 8th round by
Los Angeles as a pitcher.

Pat Meginniss
started his career as a two year varsity award winner for Elgin High
School. He then became an Elmhurst College Blue Jay, where he was a
four year varsity award winner and three year starter with a career
batting average of .320, 53 runs scored, 15 doubles, 2 home runs, 25
walks, 38 RBI and a on-base percentage of .380. His career fielding
percentage was .975. He was awarded Most Improved Player in 2006,
Gold Glove in 2007, and Coach's Award for leadership and outstanding
play in 2008. He was also voted team captain in 2008. He has done
catchers/hitting instruction t various camps since 2004.
