HS Coach Evaluation:  Josh Harris is no ordinary high school baseball player. Josh’s commitment to the sport and himself surpasses any player that I have coached in the past 12 years. This young man has a presence on the field and off with his physical ability and competitive edge. Josh is a leader both vocally and physically. This young man has the ability to play at the next level and beyond because he posses the intangibles that cannot be coached; heart, desire, size, and academics. I would strongly recommend Josh for any college program and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me.

FV Royals Coach Evaluation:  Josh is a big, strong and durable top of the rotation starter.  Works with his fastball between 82-83mph and has topped out at 85-86mph this summer.  Throws a heavy ball and utilizes his length to maximize extension; fastball seems to creep up on hitters producing late swings and ground balls.  Has yet to reach his full potential with velocity.  He is working diligently on a conditioning and throwing program.  Has a legitimate out pitch with his CB; changes speeds with his breaking pitch to affect depth at HP.  Is just starting to get a "feel" for his changeup which will compliment his other pitches nicely.  Josh is an above average defender at first base; he knows the game because he is a student of the game.  Has the ability to hit for power and to the opposite field.
